My RR fits in the back of my '06 Frontier just fine. The only thing that pisses me off is its 2 inches too long to fit with my bed extender in.
I love that feature too! When I saw that, I knew I had to buy my 1972 Plymouth wagon.Nemesis said:One of the features I liked about this truck was that tailgate door folds down (standard on all trucks, of course) but it also swings wide. Something I haven't seen on other trucks.
Also, it has a trunk--if you look in the picture, underneath the swingarm is the trunk. Pretty cool!

? Are u kidding me? Lets say for argument sake that 60% of the bikes weight is on the back. . . roughly 400 lbs. . . . have you ever sat on the back of tailgate with a few of your friends?TOMIMOTO said:Does it have a reinforced tailgate to be able to hold that weight? Seems a little scary hanging your bike off the back end.
I have an 06 too and LOVE it!!! I was a little pissed too when I discovered that the extender would not work with it. It drives very smoothly with gobs of power.THEYCALLMECLOS said:My RR fits in the back of my '06 Frontier just fine. I agree and for what it's worth, I have been transporting one or two bikes with my Ridgeline for over a year now. I've lost count of the number of times I have done this. I've gone to Laguna Seca for the last two years with two bikes on my Ridgeline. Each trip was close to a thousand miles.millcityrider said:? Are u kidding me? my dodge has had 500 lbs on the tailgate alone. . .no prob.
i almost got the avalanche a few years back. the one i wanted was the nice clean one without all the plastic, and it was a really good drive. i opted for a smaller car cuz i didn't need the truck at the time and the gas mileage was terrible. now i got my RR and snow boarding season is coming up so the truck is looking good right now.exo600 said:even tho I would most likely still purchase a ridgeline (if i had the funds) for the reliability factor the Avalanche looks alittle better IMO and is a more capable truck/suv
Ridgeline
Hp= 247
Towing Capacity= 5000 lbs.
Avalanche
Hp= 310-366
Towing= 7200-8200lbs.
I didn't realize you could put bikes in the bed of an Avalanche. The reason I bought a Ridgeline is because I didn't want a trailer.exo600 said:even tho I would most likely still purchase a ridgeline (if i had the funds) for the reliability factor the Avalanche looks alittle better IMO and is a more capable truck/suv

wow, it's been awhile since i jacked someones thread, hahaha.
what are you talking about?slowpoke_dave said:it will fit if you hit the ridgeline at 150mph.
