Hey guys I think I'm about to ask a stupid question. But.....
I want to put on a dynojet power commander 5 and I want to know in what order should I buy these pieces? Power commander, auto tune, and second stage fuel module. Do I need all pieces or can I get the power commander separate, then add the others? Thanks for your advice and sorry if this is a repost!

Yes, as the person above said the pcv is all you need to run it. You can add the other two later. However, if you can install the auto tuner and then the sfm and retune with the sfm, but don't install the sfm without the auto tuner as you'll need to return when you install the sfm as you'll be adjusting all 8 injectors with the sfm so a retune would be needed.

if you are planing on eventually tuning all 8 injectors go wit Bazzaz.

i would recommend a dyno tune or the auto tuner, even if its just street use, a good dyno tune is best but owning the autotuner gives you the option to save and re tune when you do more add ons and changes to the bike, you may not get its max capabilities but you will be ok.
personally i went with bazzaz and auto tune, mostly because i like doing things myself, and i want to learn to use this.

You'll save yourself money if you go with a Bazzaz.... But its really personal preference at this point. Some prefer the PC, while others want the Bazzaz..

I went with the PC5, full exhaust and a high flow filter. I'm thinking about getting my ECU flashed and get it dyno tuned but I know it's expensive. Which order should I go in to avoid having to spend extra money doing things twice? I wouldn't really need an autotuner if I got a dyno tune right? And is a digital servo emulator helpful? I've been trying to research on my own but keep going in circles. Sorry to thread jack

'What are you looking to achieve?' That is what you need to ask yourself before going out and buying all these mods. I installed a PCV and set it up with a good map and I couldn't be happier; much smoother throttle, reduced engine braking, better acceleration and all-round performance.

You'll need the autotune if you plan on aggressive riding/racing in various conditions/altitudes to accomodate the air density changes. You only need the SFM if you plan on making substantial changes to your engine componentry.

As of right now it will be a street only machine but will more than likely be tracked later in it's life. So I'll save the SFM for later I suppose. My main goal with these mods was to get the most out of the bike without having to change any internals. So should I just go with the autotune and not worry about getting it dynoed? Thanks for the help fellas
