I have an 05 600rr with about 15000km on it and just recently it started to bog out when the throttle was opened up. It happens after riding for about 15 mins or so and seems to happen in every gear. It seems to climb rpm alright when opened up slowly but bogs out bad when opened up quickly and seems worse around 6000 to 7000rpm. Doesn't happen all the time but seems to be happening more often lately. Happened to me for a few seconds last summer about three times but seems pretty consistsnt lately. I've checked fuel lines they look good, any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

The RPM you mentioned is right around when the second set of injectors kick in. Maybe this is part of the problem? IDK
Yup, and the fuel pump can't keep up with the extra injectors. There have been a few fuel pump threads lately...whats up with that

for checking your fuel pump can you leave a fuel pressure gauge hooked up while you drive to check the pressure when it boggs out? and does anyone know what pressures are suppose to be when the secondary injectors come in? any other options on checking a fuel pump?

Could be a number of things in my opinion. Seeming its beeing progessing a good guess is fuel pump as said above. But from what my experiances would incline me to think would be plugs and or wires. When an engine gets a bad spark or no spark it will bog on acceleration quite bad and even back fire. Fuel pumps tend to come in and out sometimes ok others not so much and then one day poof its toast you will get nothing. With the amount of miles you got on the bike fuel pump seems a bit premature to go out. Although plugs should not be an issue either seems more reasonable to me. No offence to the others thinking fuel pump you might be right.
