Exhaust install...fender eliminator a must?

I ordered a Don Moto exhaust for my 03 600rr. Will the stock rear fender and everything still work or do I have to do a fender eliminator?

Good question, I wish I knew. You don't have to on my model, but it sure would look better!

No, you shouldn't have to get a fender eliminator. IIRC the stock rear fender mounts in the same place as the aftermarket ones anyway. Aftermarket fender eliminators look better though.

I read a review recently in Performance Bikes on the danmoto exhausts. Apparently they show similar power gains to better known aftermarket slip ons but have a much higher risk of failure. The design sometimes isn't up to scratch and can cause a lot of heat build up in very small areas, leading to the exhaust cracking after a short space of time. For the price, that's probably what most people would expect though.
What fails on it? It's just piping.

According to PB, the can splits.
PB? Split where? It's not a big deal, I have a tig at home.
Anyone do this exhaust install? I just unboxed it and it appears to have 3 spring hangers but only 2 springs that came with it.
