What's up everybody? I'm looking to replace all of the fairings on my 07 RR, where is the best place/price to order from. Looking to keep it simple as far as Color goes. I appreciate the feedback thank you.
I've ordered four fairing kits this year from China (never had a problem with any of the vendors and you're covered by eBay buyer protection). All of them arrived within 3 weeks. One in 8 working days and I'm in SC.
Plain white set can be had for under $200. Lots of cool color schemes for around $350. My most recent install can be seen in "She Turned Out Real Nice" thread. It's an 09 but I put 07-08 fairings on because I don't like "the diaper" on the 09-12s.
If you're looking for OEM then dealer is your only option. Full set is over $2k though.
I ordered from Auctmart. Took about 4-5 weeks total. But I also had them custom painted. Not too bad on the fitment, paint and clear coat is mehh, clear coat is starting to yellow a bit in certain spots. Paint chips pretty easily if you're not careful. I bought some clear 3M vinyl and put it on all the edges, especially the spots I'd be taking on and off constantly. Quality of the actual plastics are great though. I only had 1 fitment issue and they are replacing it. Minimal drilling but I did have to widen some of the holes for the bolts and the flush mount flashers/mirrors.. You can check out my thread here - it's an 07' as well.
Just dropped a deposit on a track only 2012 RR. Previously rode F2 and F3 so comfortable staying in the CBR family. Suspect this RR will be a little quicker, handle better, start easier than the carb'd F2 and F3(s) that i owned. Also have RM 250, TTR 125 and JR 50... and some cars... :)...
i am looking for a spare rear shock for my 2012 cbr600rra (ABS).
It looks like the rear shock for abs version is different than non-abs ?
Looking at ohlins they all say non-abs. But why? Can i make the non-abs work? and what is the difference?

I just started riding back in June when I purchased my 2013 CBR 250R. I held off on posting because I wanted to spend some time riding before shared a few of my thoughts on the bike and riding in general.
I have rode the bike 3,000 miles in the past 3 months. The bike had 3,400 miles on it when...
I have a 97 f3. Recently had the carbs cleaned because it was sputtering while I was riding. It was to the point I’d have to open the choke to keep it going. It ran great for a ride or two and now it started doing it again. Any suggestions?
Hi guys! So i'm planning to buy this bike (2nd hand) but my issue is i'm a short guy. I'm only 5'1 lol (so unluncky) do you think i can ride this bike by lowering it? And is it safe to lower this bike if possible.
