So I'm completely stumped. Used the search function but no luck.
Back story at the bottom.

CBR600rr 05

When I turn the bike on the Fuel pump doesn't prime and my FI light doesn't come on at all, and the bike wont turn over when I push the start button.

Fuse are good, relays are good, power commander is good. I applied direct power to the fuel pump and it primes. Check the Kill switch and its good. Cleaned every ground on the bike. I also have another cbr600rr 06 race bike that works fine. I've plugged in that ECU to no avail.

When I put a multi meter on the plug that comes from the wiring harness that goes into the fuel pump I get nothing, infinite resistance, with the kill switch in both the on and off position. Then I connected the battery and checked for power from the same plug and get nothing.

There are no cuts in the wiring harness that I can see. I'm about to start unraveling the wiring harness to follow the fuel pump plug wires, something I really don't want to do.

Help would be appreciated.

Back story:

Bike died on me months ago at a stop light. I noticed my HIDs went out and clicked the start button to get them going again which promptly killed the bike. The bike would crank but wouldn't start. After about the 7th attempt at starting the bike it caught. When I got home I killed it and tried to restart it. Wouldn't even crank. Took it apart and cleaned every connection but it still wouldn't start. The next morning after giving up the night before I tried it and it started right up. I hadn't touched it since the night before, bike fixed it self???:retard:

Well the same thing happened again last month and it hasn't fixed itself yet.... Had to go get the trailer to get it home.

Your on the right track, sounds like a open in the wire harness somewhere.
You swapped the ecu yet? Ck inputs from Ecu to fuel pump, prob need a wire diagram

I have a power commander but I completely disconnected it and hooked everything back up to stock to eliminate it from the equation. Still didn't work so Im discounting a PCIII issue. I am now switching out relays and the ecu from the working bike.

Just swapped the ecu and relays from the bad bike into the good one. Race bike started right up so its not the ecu or relays.

The spark plugs don't spark because the bike wont even turn over. Start button gets no response when pushed but I tested it with a volt meter and it shows infinite resistance when pushed and no resistance when in the closed position so I am assuming its working ok.

Also the plugs only have about 3k miles on them

New Development!

Like I said I tested the relays and they work.
The power wires coming from the fuel pump run into 2 different relays. I removed the relays and applied direct power to those wires and the fuel pump primed!?!
so there's no issue in that part of the wiring harness.

still :banghead: atm

Oh I didn't realize it wasn't even turning over.... Starter no good?

checked all the fuses about 3 times.

I just checked the voltage on the wires going TO my tilt sensor on both bikes. there are 3 wires going to the tilt sensor. The service manual says to check:
A. White/black (+) and Green (-) = battery voltage
B. Red/white (+) and Green (-)= 0-1 bolts

Working bike:
A. 13 volts
B. 13 volts

not working bike:
A. 0.53 volts!!
B. 0.53 volts

I tested the sensor on the working bike and heard it trip the relay when flipped upside down. I placed it on the none working bike and when flipped upside down the relay doesn't trip.

I replaced my entire front end on the nonworking bike with my race bike, to include dash, tilt sensor, and wiring harness (no headlights or blinkers) still no dice. tilt sensor still didn't trip the relay on the bike.

I just bridged the engine stop relay with a bridge wire and added power. The FI light came on for the first time and the fuel pump started priming but wouldn't stop. When I hit the start button still wouldn't crank.
