from the information you have given us it could be one of a million problems.
we need more to help diagnose.

any mods or maintenance recently?
does the FI light blink when you turn the key on?
have you unplugged anything recently

oh and there are about 80 why is my FI light threads that i know of already. i am going to assume that you have read those and still cant figure it out.

that is the fuel pump priming itself, and the relay cycling.
if u have a FI light on while RIDING the bike, re read my first post.

we cant help u out if u dont give us anything to work w/... (if u in fact have a FI fault code)

if you separate the wires for the kickstand sensor, its the same as stand down.
here is the plug i made using the stock sensor plug.
when its in, the bike is in run mode (stand up). when i take it out, the bike is in diagnostic mode (stand down).
the connector sits under the rectifier (silver heatsink looking thing) on the left side of the bike.

There should be short and long flashes count them both separately. That will give us a diagnostic code to troubleshoot the issue.
