Looks like hotbodies to me.. http://www.hotbodiesracing.com

If it is, its the new mold too, with mids/upper as one piece.. I heard the new mold fits tons better than the old stuff (what I have) but they upped the price to roughly $800.

Thanks for the info, I am thinking about picking it up I just wanted to make sure it was something worth buying. I need a set for going to Jennings trackdays. I guess the only question is how can he get away with selling it so cheaply if it retails for $800?

Could be several reasons, i.e. short on money and having to part out.. could also mean its a scam or not in the condition as pictured.. id be wary too, but I got my new set of hotbodies from another .net member for $400 and they were just fine.

Well I hope they are ok because I bid on them and won. The guy only has one negative in his feedback and it looks like he has been selling these for a while now. I was thinking that they could be blems or something that he was getting cheap. But no problem, they are made out of fiberglass so as long as the pieces fit half way decent I can always cut, trim, sand, re-mold to make them work. I could also beef them up if they are flimsy. We'll see, Ill post up when I receive them and see how they are.

Yah.. the hotbodies tend to take more prep work than others anyways, but it wasnt too bad for me.. the fitment was kinda annoying at first but i got it all to fit.. they did flex well from what I saw.. cuz you dont want them "too" beefy in that they'll snap instead of flex.. I stepped straight down on my mid on accident one night and it flex'd right back to normal..

the three piece is easier to deal with by far. i have the 5 piece hotbodies and its a pain in the ass to deal with. it does crash good though, from my buddies experiences with it

my 5 is a pain was a pain in the ass, but mostly with the lower (Hotbodies I got new in 2003)

I had to cut it in half and add 2 inches in length so the POS would clear the oil pan.
Lucky I knew a good Fiberglass Rework and Paint shop, they helped me bigtime.
