Hey so a few weeks ago I crashed and cracked one of my forks i just finished replacing and and went for a test ride. All suspension seemed good but when I hit the brakes hard(which i was doing a lot to test front forks) the front wheel was locking up and I was doing little stoppies. I never really try to do them before, but I thought that abs would eliminate all possibilities of lockup anyways. I have a few thoughts, but want to double check with the experts
1. I was only going like 5 mph so does abs not kick in that low
2. abs needs to recalibrate itself or something.
3. abs is broken lol
I don't need abs, but seeing as i have it. it would be good if it worked

If theres a problem with the ABS the warning light should come on and stay on (providing it has carried out the self test and the bike has hit a speed greater than 6 mph)

The ABS also does not work under about 4 mph.

Give it a try at a higher speed and make sure the warning light comes on when first started up and goes off and stays off when your riding.
