first of all, G'day from Australia!

i've just got a question if someone could give me an answer...
tried doing a search but could not find anything.

When taking off the stock indicators, there is a backing plate in the inside of the fairing which i removed.

should i put this backing plate back on when installing the flushies? or would the plastic washer which came indicators be ok?

im just worried that without the backing plate i might crack my fairings or something, but as i have already put the fairings and everything back on, i just want to see if would be wasting my time or not.

in short, is it a big deal if the backing plate is not put back on?

Hi bud, I personally put the backing plate back on. I have the hotbodies.
But if you have already put it back together, no big deal.
Just my .2c

I too have hotbodies flush mounts and kept the backing plate on as well.
