If I'm not wearing full leathers
I wear these under jeans with A*boots, HRC jacket, A* gloves. They work great! For $50 you get complete knee protection. They have a plastic ball joint so that your knee is covered at all times! They have an above knee strap so it does not slip down. Only minor problem is that the top inside corner on the the plastic, may need to be trimmed so it does not scuff up the tank.

After having one accident where I came down mainly on my left knee with jeans on, causing a shitload of roadrash, I never take chances with naked knees anymore...
