Recently traded a junk 95 M3 for a project 06 600rr. This is my first bike and I tried my best to check everything out before making the deal, but I missed one HUGE spot. One of the motor mount points on the frame is pretty trashed. Was told that the bike was dropped 2 years ago and all I could see were some scratches. Come to find out he hid the frame damage by covering it with the rectifier. The good news is at least it came with around 2k worth of parts, and I only paid about 400 for the BMW I traded him.

Was wondering if anyone had some advice they could give me. Should I try maybe finding a cheap salvage frame and just have the mount cut and welded, or maybe just find a damn good fabricator and try to make something work? I understand that a new frame is the best way to go but finding one with a clean title for a decent price has been a struggle so far. I'm going to keep looking but figured I would ask people that know more than I do just to see what I could get away with for the time being.

I would get a really good welder to see if they could fab something....or cut off a piece from another frame and weld on.......
that's all I can suggest.
