if the frame is cracked in half, is there anyway you can fix them up? The bike has salvage title and the frame is damaged.. picture shown.. do you think there is a shop that can weld this frame to look like a stock?

is that a kawa zx10r? well you can definitely TIG weld aluminum frames but to restore it in it's original look will take a lot of time.

you'll have to take EVERYTHING apart to replace the frame, that's how it is.

There are professional frame repairing services, they use some higher tech stuff to re-certify a frame, but honestly these new race replica bikes have such exotic frames and are supposed to withstand rather extreme conditions, that no amount of work will be able to restore a cracked frame like that to something that I would deem 'safe' to ride.

Can't a frame from a salvage be had for a few hundred bucks? Doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
