so...i put the front stand on this morning...just for curiousity...i turn the front wheel to see its rotation and...the brakes are squelling...it's obvious that the rotors are having a little bit of contact with the pads...

what should i do?
1. change the pads
2. leave it as is...almost 8000 miles.
3. get more help.

That's perfectly normal. The caliper pistons do not retract all the way back in, so there will be a little rubbing between the brake pads and the rotor.
No need to worry about it, unless you hear a metal grinding noise when you apply the brakes. :D
