actually i am from houston and the shop cant give me a straight up answer of how long it would take or even just a price to get it done. i was wondering just how hard it is to do and if someone knows how can tell me how some kind of directions

its pretty much straight forward.. remove the cover..loosen the bolt in the middle (14mm) but make sure your bike is in neutral and use a piece of wood or something through the spokes of the wheel to hold it..and after that loosen up the tension on the chain, and gently pull the sprocket off. After that unhook the chain, clean off the area around if you like, then reinstall the new sprocket and reverse the steps.. I dont remember what the TQ specs were, but I'm sure somebody on here can help you. Or search.

yes but you have to remove the shifter & linkage out of the way before you can remove the sprocket cover, use a 6mm allen wrench to remove the shifter lever.

Be careful I had a shop do for a good price, but when finished, my bike was cranked up and it was making a grinding sound on the left side. Spoke with the shop chief and said something was pushed in to much and a internal part popped out on the other side. It was fixed. Not sure what it was. JUST BE CAREFUL.
