The more you do to your bike the more it will help. It will do very little stock. The more performance upgrades (Exhaust, air filter, higher octane gas, etc.) you do the more the fuel management will help set the right perimeters to use those upgrades to the best of their abilities.

The OEM one that is on your bike currently works very well
UNTIL
you start to change parts - slipon, exhaust headers, head work, increased compression.
At this point the Power Comander, Bazzaz, & HRC systems will all work very well - priced in that order - going upwards...
