Fuel Pump, Headlights, Signals out

I've got a pretty strange problem. My bike has been sitting outside for 2 days, it was fine last time I rode it.

Now, the fuel pump won't prime. Also, my headlights won't turn on, and signals don't work either. I thought the kill switch was messed but it seems I have more than just 1 electrical problem.

The guage cluster works, FI light is not coming on. The horn works (which is weird because it runs on the same fuse as the signals that won't work?) and the tail light also works. Starter also works.

The bike won't start obviously because of the fuel pump, jump starting it also doesn't work.

I checked and swapped all fuses, they all look fine.

I'm baffled as to what the hell happened?? Any ideas?

Now it started doing this. What does this mean? It had 1 bar on the gas light. Then started flashing. Now it's doing this. Does it think I have no gas?

I've found other people with the problem that have fixed it by playing with this ground wire box thing. So far I haven't been able to get it but still trying

Check the ground box on the left hand side, taped to the subframe... yellow box with lots of green wires going into it. You will more than likely find a few burnt wires and or some corrosion in there.
Just read the bottom of your second post... that's the ground box your looking for...
I have solved it by removing all of the green wires from the box, and placing them back in random order. There was a bad connection somewhere.

Hope this helps someone with this weird problem.

ANd a few hours later I low sided on some sand in a corner because the sunset was in my eyes. What luck I have.
Well, good that you fixed it but the rest sucks....

How much damage is there to the bike?

Time for some mods me thinks. Post some pics of the damage.

Rather than just sliding across the pavement ( I was going about 60-70k, so 40mph?) it had to fetch up on the tires and topple over.

So far I see damaged:

Headlight unit with cables
Sub frame (might be able to bend back)
Most fairings
Fairing stay
Clip on
Gauge cluster
Rearsets
Mirrors

Probably a couple mounts and bolts and crap.
So a little over 1000

Debating a part out. This is the 2nd time the bike has been down so I'm familiar with the process. I see the money for a frame, engine, exhaust, rims, tank, brakes, rotors, seat, swingarm, etc is not too bad. I just can't afford this to happen right now, could barely afford insuring the thing.

May post a pic later, it's just basically missing the front upper fairing with the lights. It doesn't look terrible.

60-70k makes more sense to me than 40mph!

Dinged up quite a bit of stuff there unfortunately...
