So my buddy went to get his throttle bodies done cause the timing was off on one, and he knew that his pump was messed up, it wouldn't turn on all the time on his 04. they said they need they need the full flow of something in order to do the throttle bodies, and they said they can get a fuel pump for $450? does that sound right. i told my buddy i would check on here,cause there are some very knowledgeable people on here!

I am currently in the process of dealing with getting a new fuel pump right now. If you go through the dealer, you will pay anywhere from $350-$450 for a new pump.

Honestly, I wasn't going to spend that kind of money and was very fortunate to find a pump and tank that has been lightly used for $225 total. Tell your buddy to look around for a used pump from either an 03 or an 04 and he should be fine.

The first one is that everything he would need to get right there? thanks for the help guys.... i called and they said they stand behind there products, so if any problems i can return for anew one. what do you guys think.. 159.95 is a lot better than 450! haha

That is a whole lot better my friend. Just make sure you take a flash light inside of it and check it before you install it too.
