Took my bike for a ride today and while riding home I started smelling raw fuel at stoplights. I parked it in the garage and let it cool off for a while before looking at it. When I went back in my garage I was overwhelmed by the smell of fuel (my wife could smell it too). As far as I can see there are no leaks or drips. I have about a half tank of gas. It starts and runs fine, except I noticed my fuel pump sounds wierd when it primes. I have included a couple vids to show what I am hearing. The first vid is how it usually sounds. The second vid shows how it doesn't sound right. It almost sounds like the fuel line is blocked and the pump builds up a bunch of pressure and then finally releases. Any thoughts??

Lift your fuel tank and inspect the fuel lines for clogs or loose fittings.

Well, I lifted the tank and I couldn't see anything wrong. All the lines looked good and I didn't see any leaks or drips. After letting it sit overnight the odd sound when the fuel pump primes seems to have gone away. I still smell a little gas, but not nearly as much as I did yesterday. The fuel overflow line smells of gas, but there isn't any coming out of it. I did park my bike at a steep angle yesterday (to the left) and maybe a little gas made it into the overflow line. I made a couple more videos showing what it sounds like today. What do you think Demented?

Gotta pull the lines off to make sure they're not clogged, but if you parked the bike at a steep angle to the left, that may be the problem. If the tank is close to full, it'll spill out into the overflow line, which has the pick-up on the left side of the tank.
