I wear my helmet, gloves, A*s boots, A*s jacket (textile for summer and leather the rest of the year) and either a pair of jeans or padded textile riding pants. Sure, they look at me funny, especially other people who ride because almost nobody wears gear in Japan, but they usually stop when they see the bike. Anyway, I have to change clothes at work so I might as well be protected on the way there - there's no point in not wearing the gear.
Full gear to work...
so, who else wears full gear to work on a daily basis? i'm planning on riding to work tomorrow for the first time. i will be wearing helmet, jacket, gloves, overpants and boots. i'm curious to the reaction that you get...i have a feeling people will be looking at me like i'm from outer space...oh well
