Mine does really well on gas, a lot of times my indicator says 1 or 2 bars but it is actually half full so I am not as low as I think sometimes. Pay attention when you refill, how many gallons you put in, that will give you an idea how much fuel you compared to what your indicator shows.
Will do thanks.
When I had my bike I would get around 120 miles per tank. 130 if I felt like letting the bar start to flash.

It's really not that good on gas. My first bike was a Suzuki GS500 and I would get 230 miles per tank on that bike and it had the same size tank as the RR.
I'm getting about 220 before I fill up, usually with a bar or 2 left. At that point I'm putting in like 3.4-3.6 gallons or so. It really depends how you ride. That's with me going to and from work on the expressway. If we hit the lakeshore and the twisties, It'll sometimes be about half that.
220 no way
^that's why i was asking how much gas it holds.
damn 220...so am i stupid for filling up at around 120
I don't believe 220. Even going like 60 on the highway for the whole tank I don't think that would be possible.
You guys have freaken gas guages on your bike?

mine just freakens flash "Low gas" which means get to the freaken gas station asap.
220? sweet jesus, I need to get on what you're using!

maybe 170 and that would be fumes
G
word. That's GOT to be KMs and not Mi.

I get about 42MPG on my bike, so do some math.
yea no way on the 220. 160 city riding miles on a tank and im happy
i avg about 39-40mpg highway and city combined. that's on an '02 F4i with 11500mi on the clock.
I've gone over 50 miles with the damn thing flashing. I ended up sputtering into a gas station. Closest call I've had.

Hard throttle snaps are always bad on gas. Yet I can't truly believe you bought this awesome machine just to save gas. ;)
When the bar for the gas starts flashing you have 1 gallon of gas left.
which is really 40 miles left over.
Really it all depends on if you rip it like ALL THE TIME.
Or if your a granny cruiser.
O yea and we have duel fuel injectors so we guzzzlleee!!
G
Anyone know if the second set of injectors is no all the time, or if it comes on at a certain RPM? I bet that just HAMMERS the MPG...
