1. Who here has raised the compression of the 600RR, how high, what method, what results, what worked best for fuel mapping.

2. Who here has either advanced the stock intake cam or installed and used an upgrade cam (aftermarket OR factory), how much, what method, what results, what did it do to the gas requirements?

3. Also to anyone who has done either, what impact did it have on the coolant temps?

My bike is in the shop for port+polish+valve job+fork job+paint, now would be the time to play with compression or forever hold my piece.

AND Clarkie ! I only know theory because I lack a CNC machine, but he can probably help you or build your motor. I have my supersport legal RR up to 114 on 93 octane with NO machining or cam work. There are lots of little tricks before you even get to the good stuff. I think 120 is attainable in conservative supersport trim, 125-128 in quick rebuild mode.
