i am interested in getting into racing. does any1 know where in massachusetts i could go to learn?

The closest racetrack to Boston is New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH. There are a number of different clubs that host track days there which, as Slim said, is the best way to get oriented to the track.
