I am looking to buy a 1-piece set of leathers. Does anybody have insight and experience with kangaroo leather? It is claimed to be stronger & lighter then cowhide.

I want something, light, supple, and perforated for around $1000. Alpinestars seems to be the brand of choice, but any thoughts on GiMoto.
