Just bought a 01' 929 today... It has some bad plastics, tank could use replacing and the front fairing... it has high miles, 28K, but is very mechanically sound, brand new tires, plugs, oil, chain, etc... etc... clean title and all, rides beautifully and full of power and I bought it for $2150.. It also came with a pimp Icon jacket and a bike cover... Within the hour I sold it all for $3000 to a good friend :) Good day today!

Sounds like you are a good friend to make a quick buck of a "good friend". I've had friend's like you before....willing to make a quick buck off anyone. Don't get me wrong, I know you are no different than many other people. I just don't make money off friends. My friends pass on deals to me and return the favor of not making money off me. What comes around goes around. It's not like you ripped him off, I know that. But, we all have different morals and values on friedships. I'm not gonna give you the thumbs up for doing that to a "good friend".
+1 This guy is totally right. How are you gonna make money on a deal your friend? A good friend could have just told the friend about the deal and saved him money... geezzz

Hahah.. quick to make shitty judgements, thats ok..
My friend isn't paying me anything untill January, and Im letting him have the bike now. I bought this bike with FULL intentions only to resell it and make money, not to ride it at all. (just because of the crazy deal that it is and I have the cash to play with) I could have made plenty more, My other roomate is going to buy the bike off of him when he's done and stunt it later, he is not getting ripped off, he is very happy, and knows exactly how much I paid for it. This isn't some shady **** at all, he can most likely make just as much money reselling it as I did.. Thanks for the comment though.

+1 to shade...I see nothing wrong with the deal...had this happen many times. A friend wants something I just bought and I sell it to them.
Well... even though it sounded shady at first... Shade comes right back with a great explanation!
