hey guys im new to this whole forum thing so bear with me here lol

the other night i was riding my 05 cbr 600rr' was about 12 a.m. as i was goin down the highway (doin about 70-75 mph) all of a sudden i see an 18-wheeler tire in the middle of the road. I saw it too late and all i could do was brace myself. i ran right over that tire and somehow managed to keep the bike up. i pulled over immediately to check out the damage. my bottom fairings and part of my side fairings were all tore apart and lying in the middle of the highway, luckily no leaks or anything.
I am a college student working at walmart and now i need new fairings lol. so i was just trying to check to see where i can get the best deal on fairings. so far havent seen anything under $500. i would appreciate any help or info

thanks,
gary

Glad to hear that you made through in one piece. Look around on ebay, you might get lucky and find replacement pieces pretty cheap. $500 is about average price. The only other option, if you're looking to buy a set, is to buy a set that isn't painted. May save you about $100 or so bucks, but then again if you're like me you won't be able to go to long w/out some paint/scheme.
Check on here in the classifieds. I know there is a guy some lowers and mids.
Cuz I'm feeling nice...

Right side lower and mid from Drezdun

Or if you can fix and paint, CD has a right mid for cheap!

Good luck! Check out Ebay. You can usually find some cheap deals on there. I seen some mids going for $50 shipped last week.

I got lucky today, now I need penicillin

lmao thats good stuff
Glad to see you didnt go down, I almost hit a piece of tractor trailer tire or road alligator as i like to call it, It was dark too, I dont know how i moved fast enough but i went around it. I really dont like riding on the highway at night and that close call freaked me out,If i have to ride at night ill take the long way home. For the most part riding at night sucks period haha.

Check out Kpowersports.com, Thats where i got my fairings and they fit pretty well, I havent check the website in awhile but theyre out of florida and I think theyre going for 500 shipped.
Just to chip in with another option, cbrfairings.com sells individual pieces though I'm not certain on prices. I'm awaiting my full kit from them currently. Though they manufacture out of china, there customer support is here in the U.S. and have been really quick to reply and get things exactly how I wanted them made.
if you have a red/black scheme 05 shoot me a pm with your zip and we can work out a good deal for you on the right mid and right lower.

both the mid and lower are perfectly mint.
I ran over a Post Office plastic mail carrier box... tore up my lowers. Another time a car ran over a piece of torn HOV plastic pole and it flew into me... it tore up a fairing. Keeps life interesting for sure
Sorry to hear about that man. Riding on the highway can be pretty rough.

I have to do a bunch of swerving too around the DFW area.

You said your bike was an 05 which means I don't think I can help....I have a black lower fairing from my 08 that I'd give you if it would fit (if someone can confirm that it would, it's yours).

Good luck to you man, hope everything works out for ya.
It wont, but super nice gesture!

ya sucks that it wont fit, but thanks so much for the offer
Dark highways can be bad when it comes to debris in the road, most headlights dont seem to shine far enough, at even at 70mph seems like most of what you can see you dont have much time to avoid. As soon as you can see something, your pretty much on top of it.

Let me know if you have any questions about our fairing kits.
