ANyone use GPS?
Does anyone have a recommendation?
Im looking at the Explorist 400

Just want to be able to plot my route at home and follow it on my bike... someone i met gave me the idea but i never saw him again...
just not sure if it will allow me to do this function

I love it, I bought it because I'm new to this area (San Diego) and it helps me out all the time. Its one of those things once you buy it you wonder how you lived without it. I looked at TomTom's and Garmins, and although the Garmins looked great they were too pricey. I decided on the Magellan and I have yet to have any problems (other than some minor issues that were related to my vehicle and not the system in the beginning).


I do know the TomTom's have a bike specific system out now although I'm not sure on price or specifics for it.

I looked it up, here is the TomTom Motorcycle system. Probably a bit pricey for most people on 2 wheels (other than the touring crowd).

I know my Uncle's Motorcycle Magazine just did a review for this thing and I'm not sure how it turned out. TomTom sent him a free one to review and I've yet to ask how he liked it.
