why is it soo hard to set up a group ride on here????

and all you guys just talk?

do any of you actually ride or just sit on your laptop chatting about riding??

You don't need the internet to setup group rides. Don't you have friends that rides?

actually i've set up a few rides with ppl in the west coast forum. i don't usually talk, just type for the most part. i do ride....a lot, mostly track though. race too. don't actually sit on my laptop since i have a desktop. i love chatting about riding when im not doing it though, so that's why im on here so often.

yeah, you might be better off with group rides in a local forum if there are any in your area. maybe hit up a bike night if they have those too.

yeah i mean i have people that i ride with but they are all into stunting.. and i dont really want to just ride down the HWY doing stand ups...

i am just trying to find more people that i can ride with

yea that sux. that's how i felt when i first moved out here and didn't know anybody. in oxnard we were riding every weekend in the canyons. minimum of 5 ppl. then i come out here and see a bunch of squids and didn't even know where the canyons were.

Well if push comes to shove.........just continue to ride solo until you meet more riders in your area.

there is a group ride this sunday so hopefully i meet some new people there

i don't like the solo thing...safety in numbers for me. if/when i go down i don't want to be out there all alone hanging off the side of a cliff.

Maybe it is because many of us don't live anywhere close to you?
