Finally got my long, Goodridge SS brakeline on friday...made up some more junction valves, and threw it all together. Bleeding it was a bit*h, but i finally got it. the 1000rr clutch master is sweet.

If anyone is interested in the junction valves, PM me...I made 3 extra. here are a couple pics.

haha ya i love it when i see unscraped 12 bars, mint cages and hand brakes on bikes where the rider can hardly control the rev limiter, 1st gear, 50 ft wheelies they pull!

How do u bust out ur sit downs? how fast u goin? i can't seem to get a sit down up for the life of me at any speed less than 10mph! high speed sit downs are cake like any other bike but on this 600RR it seems like its impossible from a dead stop or even a creep. The only way i've been able to pull it off is pop it up in stagger position then sit down into the seat but thats real sketchy cuz its hard to work the brake while goin from standin up to sittin down...
i don't think you're a "poser" if u get a handbrake if ur not quite using it yet...it takes some getting used to, so just having it on there and getting a feel for it (and getting it adjusted/situated to your liking) is important.

as far as slow sitdowns go...i really don't have enough time on my stunt rr to know yet...i've had it out 3 times since i've had the damn thing (bought it late last november)...and the last time i just put on a new sprocket, so getting adjusted to that. on my old R6, slow sitdowns from a stop were pretty easy...

i guess just keep practicing.
how's your body position on sitdowns? i had a problem on my R6 with my body position getting weight jacked to one side, for some reason...i just concentrated on keeping a "symmetrical balance" and my low speed imbalance/wobbles went away...
when i do them my speedo says about 20 so i figure im doin like 10 to 15 i got a -1 and a +10 so u do the math for the speed. when i do them i sit all the way back on the seat so my ass is against the rear seat. i can do stand ups and sit down from that position and i dont have a huge problem doin them, but the reason i want the hand brake is maybe it will help me when doin standups i will use that better than the foot brake but thats just a maybe. and i also love the posers. i got a friend that claims he can wheelie nice and all that but hes got a mint 12 bar and he cant even really get it up, we make fun of it all the time
and i got to get that idle cable mod thing done so i can start tryin to catch idle wheelies and im goin to start tryin spreders. i just got my gearing on last week and i havent had a stunt session with them but im hopin to get one in this weekend...
ohh yea i was gonna ask u what u did with the light controls? i was just gonna put them on the little intake cover thingy but havent really looked at it yet. just out of curiousity

i just ditched that whole "pod" that controls the horn/signals/hi-lo beams...wired up a rocker switch for the acerbis headlight and put it on the tank cover. wired it such that, the switch will only turn the headlight on when the key is in the "ON" position.

u can see the switch in this pic

sweet setup. i like my upper one thier though and i am tryin to get all my fairings back togther so my bike will look decent again so i was gonna try my way but if that dont work i like that alo also nice and clean
hey man how you gettin' the headlight to mount on with that f u c k in front master cylinder in the way. i haven't messed with it too much but it looks like it's in the way a lot. you got any pics of the whole setup? also i need to find out what the part # is for the acerbis fork straps, cause the dealership sent me straps for a fiddy.
hold on...i gotta snap a few pics for some misc crap to put on ebay...i'll take some of the setup
u can kinda see from the first 2 pics...i had to take a dremel to that bit ch...came out ok though

are you tryin to call someone out here?...

I like to see mint cages cuz it says perhaps that rider is good enuff to not wreck?

if you have db bars and your tryin to learn sity 12's and slows which lead to no handers of course, rotate your bars forward, it will help your o's and endos too every tap of the brake when sitting down flexs your rear shock alot more than a standup..so litly dragging it agaisnt idle helps me alot more than tapping it when too high
yea i'm pretty sure mine's gonna get in the way then. anyone know what the acerbis fork straps part # is? and how's that clutch master cylinder feel? i think i gotta rebleed mine. but with 2 fingers i can lock it up. but i gotta adjust my **** cause i can't transition to the hb very smoothly still.
cesario...take a zip tie, and pull that mofo to the handlebar as hard as you can, adn ziptie it to the handlebar....let it sit over night...cut the ziptie and re bleed it...

check for leaks tho around all your fittings...any lil crack that wouldnt normally show will if you do this
well, to be honest, i haven't been able to really test the hb/1000rr clutch master yet...took it around the block when i installed it and it felt good...next day we got a fuckin foot of snow...yeah...
if you have liil girly fingers like me you'll just learn to rely on engine brake more than anything..and kinda just use it to think its helpin when its not hah
hmm i guess i just gotta pull the tampon out at muscle it up thur. blk600rr - i'll try scootin way back in the seat. good call on consentrating on keepin the bike balanced from side to side, i know exactly what u mean, i'm still havin that prob with my foot-in-seat's and it helps adjusting the lateral movement with your shoulders.

haha no im not tryin to can anyone out here 929rrFTP. at least around phoenix, a minty cage and 12 bar is a classic sign that a squid is present. Anyone with any skill has a crunchy peice. But its fukcin awesome when i see peeps on videos bustin out sicc circles or combos with their mint ass bike! ya i tap the rear while lightly draggin it at the same time in my stand ups but i see what ur sayin to mainly bury the rear brake in a sit down, makes sense because of the center of gravity in a sity ...
force yourself not to get on the rear brake to hard in your sitdowns man--that will be a hard habbit to break when you start learnin no handers
