I searched high and low but didn't find the answer that I was looking for. Is it OK to haul a bike with an automatic transmission Honda Civic which has a little over 200000 miles on it. I had seen some posts on here that some people are towing their bikes with their small cars(none of them were a Civic). I'm thinking of installing a hitch and renting a U-Haul trailer to tow my bike to a track because it is much cheaper than to rent a truck or a van. So, what are your thoughts to the idea?

Thanks in advance for all inputs,

yes it is very possible. i recently towed my bike with the uhaul 4x6 ramp trailer with my 95 avalon. it is a v6, but it is old and lacks power. i towed it with no problems.

Go for it. Its probably harder on your car to carry 2 or 3 adults in it. Pulling a small trailer will not hurt your car at all.
