hey folks...

as we all know, not everyone can afford full coverage.

aside from having a bad accident, what do we fear most?

HAVING OUR BABY STOLEN...right?

and even worse...having our bike stolen and not be covered by our insurance company because we couldnt afford it.

well, here is what you can do...

theft of our vehicle (auto or bike) is covered under that COMPREHENSIVE portion of insurance.

all you have to do is NOT GET COLLISION coverage.

basically, if you incur damages to your bike, you pay out of pocket...of course this is if the damages were your fault.

removing collision coverage will significantly lower your rates...roughly 50%

but not all companies allow this. check with your agent

i hope this was helpful.

check out my other thread if you guys have more questions...

YES...read the fine print. rules and regulations are different state to state, company to company.

please speak to your agent and make sure that this is a valid option.

i will be calling my underwriters to verify this.

ok i just called my underwriter for Allied Insurance. with this company theft will be covered with comprehensive coverage. you do not need to have collision.

note: this doesnt mean all companies are the same. have the agent verify with the underwriters.
