Definitely dump any gas that's In there. You're probably going to need a new battery. Fluids could use replacement. It's ok to start it with whatever oil is in there, but I wouldn't ride on 6 year old oil.

when I do this for cars, I also pull the spark plugs so that it will spin faster and without any load on it. This will get the oil pressure up and oil flowing in the head etc.

Its harder to pull plugs on these than a basic car, but it can be a great thing.

obviously oil and filter.

I'd also change the coolant

and gas. empty the tank and try to flush out all of what might be in any hoses etc. new filter too.

clean, lube and adjust chain.

new tires, but if not, check pressures.

lube and adjust all controls(clutch, throttle etc)

I'd flush all the brake fluid too. Brake fluid attracts water when sitting.

check all torque on bolts etc.

check for nests etc in airbox/air filter

check all wiring and lights

check all bearings etc(head bearings and both wheel bearing sets)

Lube and adjust chain. Check tire pressures but they probably should be replaced. Unless the bike has been on stands for the 6 years they most certainly have deformed and have dry rotted. Don’t take any chances with your life on 6 year old tires.
