I just received an Impaktech 2 finger clutch lever in the mail and was in the process of figuring out my plan for removing this to install the new assembly… Are these fuses important enough that they must be in this housing to have my bike function or? I see on partzilla they’re calling it a clutch switch set

Welcome to 600RR.net!

Those are not fuses. They are (2) electrical connectors for your safety neutral switch. You can wire them together but you will have to remember to pull the clutch before cranking the bike. With the wires jumped the bike will crank in gear from now on.

Usually not good idea to bypass safety switches. With kickstand down, taking off and turning will jam kickstand into ground and jack bike up and spin it into traffic. Many, many people have died this way.

Aftermarket levers are usually crap. I have yet to find any aftermarket levers that work better than factory ones. Lots of wobble and looseness. They're all for show and no go.

Besides not having safety switch, they usually don't fit properly and don't push on master-cylinders properly. You can usually drill 2 holes to mount factory clutch-switch.

I do not have aftermarket levers but was considering it. Even ASV C5 Series levers?
