I've started a few threads on questions about this...but they're no longer getting attention. I've also searched quite a bit, but can't find anything satisfactory. I've decided to take it off, so can anyone help me out with how to take the undertail heat shield off? You can either tell me or direct me to a write up. Thanks, guys!

and tell me are you talking about part # 13
if that is it you will have to take the off the tail section
and loosen the main bolt holding the muffler to the subframe
that is the only way you will get to that heat sheild simply
cause its betwwen the muffler & the subframe plastic tray

That looks right to me. I don't care to take off any more of the heat shield than that... In fact, I'll probably eventually cut that part and reinstall it of a new exhaust doesn't come soon enough.

How much of a pain is this process? I hate to be a nuisence, but when you say "tail section" what does that include?
