Hi there, let me introduce myself,

My name is Indy, i work and race for Team Eddys Double D's.
We are just finishing off our new racing sidecar for the 2006 season.
This year to be raced in the british formula 2 championships.
Our bike has a 2004 600RR engine and wiring loom and clocks.

Just having a few problems with the wiring.
Not sure how to bypass the immobiliser, and also how to get past the tilt sensor as we have no need for one.

We have got so far the bike sounds like it will start but them no sparks and no fuel pump.

I think its an immobiliser issue.

When does the hiss light come on or go off?

currently its off.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tilt sensor splice the outside wires together..

As for the Immobilizer I think the US and Europe bike are different when it comes to this..

If you've got a UK spec loom and ECU you need the receiver loop and it's matched key to get things running. The ECU and key are a matched set and are very difficult to bypass for obvious reasons. The system only needs to see the key while you try to start - after that you can take the key awy from the loop but will need it again to restart the motor. As mentioned on here the tilt sensor can be bypassed but the HISS is more complicated.

Options are:

HRC ECU and loom - gives extra RPM's, facility for adjusting ignition advance and maybe fuelling, removes all wiring for lights etc plus eliminated the HISS system. Down side - not cheap plus you need a special HRC lead to connect to a PC to carry out any programming.

US spec Loom and ECU - US models don't have HISS so this a possibility if you can find the bits. Kev Mawdsley at www.2wheelsonline.com sells non HISS 600RR race bikes, maybe he can help?

I've also seen a wiring place mentioned maybe on www.motoforum.net but I can't remember their name, they do HISS free kits for 600RR and other wiring jobs too. Try a search for HISS or similar.
