Can someone tell me what this thing looks like and how to use it? Im assuming its to keep your helmet strapped to your bike on the rear, but i cant figure out how to do it. Id like to keep my helmet back there on rare occasions, but i thought you just looped the D-ring through the hook in the trunk, but mine wont reach...thanks for the help...Its clear im new...

you should have a rubber tube with a wire loop inside of it in your toolbox. that is your helmet strap. hook on end to the bracket under your rear seat, put the other end through your d'ring and attach it to the bracket.


although i really wouldnt recommend leaving it there for too long, the wire is pretty thin. someone with a gerber could take your helmet.
