I've been searching all over the place for step-by-step description (hopefully with photos) on how to remove these things. I need to take the tank cover off and the last two screws are hidden under the ram air covers. There are tons of threads, but I can't seem to find "the one". The exploded view at ronayers.com doesn't really help me. Any input would be great.

Force it out!
I think it's just the top screw of the three on the side, and the plastic push tab.
There may be one screw on the inside, there wasn't one on mine.
Pull the end out of the groove from the upper and then force it off the tank.

lol, forgot to put this up before cruising around.
I took a short video, it's hard to do with only my left hand
but you pretty much get the jist of it.
It's way easier with two hands.
Just don't be afraid to man handle it a bit.
Bare with my lack of cameraman skills.

yup, comes out from the front first, just by prying on it. once it comes out, you'll understand how it stays put easy enough.
