I just bought a used Penske double clicker shock tonight for my 2003 r6. It was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up. I noticed the shock spring had 9-009 written on it (600-6 if it was upside down). He said it should be ok for a 160 190 pound rider and i'm closer to 215 fully suited up. Can someone explain spring sizing to me and tell me if this spring will be ok for a little while? is it at least better than the stocker spring? and if not, which spring do I need?
