Easy.

2 bolts under the rear of the seat.

Remove the seat there are 2 at the base of the tank cover.

2 bolts at the top of the tank cover where it meets the steering head. Your done.

Once those 4 bolts are removed, the tank cover doesn't seem to want to come off. Do I just need to use a bit more force? I was pretty tentative the first time cause I wasn't sure if there were other clips or bolts holding it elsewhere.

Yea, the tank cover is kinda form fitting, lean over the bike and grab down lower by the frame and pull outward slightly while lifting up.

The rubber gromet around the gas cap holds down a little to. You could remove it too. Just 3 screws and your key.

There are another 2 bolts under the air duct covers. you have to bend the covers to get them out. after that the last tow will be obvious.

there are 6 bolts total.

I have to bend my air intake covers? Where do I bend them? Can I just take them off?
