I figured 4,000 or so for the originals before there to square to really ride on.

I wen't to a cycle gear the other day and the guy said he got 18K on his front and 10K on his rear?!?!?

i got 14k out of my stock tires... no track days on those 70% highway 30% twisties, no burnouts. Just depends how hard you ride them i guess....

14k on stockers? woly crap!!! i bearly managed 64XX on mine... maybe you never really pushed your bike much huh? not that is everything i do but, thats why i have a bike to see how fast i can go, its just a toy... wish i'd been able to squeeze 14k outta my stockers

I usually get 9-10K on my stock tires with mixed freeway and canyon rides. The key, IMHO, to get good mileage is to rin the tires on manufacturer specified pressures. 36/42

I can 10k out of the stock tires...im at about 6k on PP's right now with plenty of life left. No burnouts, but lots of hard ridin

lots of hard ridin'? unlikely if you get that kind of mileage. the MOST I've ever gotten from a set was 2700 miles. I ride strictly canyons and track. The 2700 was before trackdays....

Tire life completely depends on tire compounds and usage. Since 90% of my riding is either track or spirited street riding once the rear starts losing the profile it's gone. Of course, by that time the edges are toast anyways.

I got about 3000-3500 out of the rear stocker I think, I don't remember.

why not just put the bike on front and rear stands so the tires don't touch the ground ? no flat spots!

im at 8k on stock right now... my rear is pretty worn down those, very minimal strips left

^ me too, I got about 8.5k on my stock tires. The rear is getting replaced soon, but the front could easily last another 10k. It doesn't seem worn at all.

i changed my mine, my rear is done at 8k, the cords are starting to come through... time to replace... front looks new tho lol
