jb weld that bitch! Places like auto zone sell it. there is 2 little tubes (kind of look like tooth paste, you mix and equal amount from each tube, and then put it on the case. It wont look real pretty, but it will work. My engine case has JB weld on it from a crash, and its been holding strong for easily 3000km's so far!

2nd for jb weld...you can even make patches with the stuff...it is pretty handy. There is also some stuff called stick steel or something like that. Comes in a tube and works well...almost like clay and is moldable.

jb weld will work as long as you take the cover off and get all of the oil out of the crack... if not, it will not properly adhere to the aluminum and you will still have a leak on your hands.

I fixed my friends cover by using JB and he has been to the track and everything with it and has had it for almost a year now with not one problem.
