shoulda cut some masking tape up, and once you get the shape you want, stick the tape on the vinyl, and cut the vinyl off the bike so you don't cut your fairings. then when applying, either do it really slow, smoothing it out as you go, or you can mix a soapy water solution (very little soap) and use a spray bottle to mist the area. this will allow you to move the decal slightly while on the bike, then use a hair dryer to dry it up. same idea as window tinting.
