You have to tuck down and maintain a loose grip on the bars. Normally, wind wont push a bike around because it's small. What happend is the wind pushes you around and if you have a death grip on the bars, then the movement of you translates into movement of the bike. That being said, I have ridden in winds strong enough to push the bike around even fully tucked in with a loose grip. In that situation, I just hope it doesn't push me into another lane haha. Nothing you can really do about it.

If I have cars in front of me, I watch which way the wind blows them and then l lean into it once I'm on top of it (wind). I'm with ya man, I hate wind. Being 5'5" and 107 lbs I get my butt kicked all over the place. Just lean into it.
