so i tried to turn down my idle a little. and when i went to play with it, nothing was happening. i tried turning it both ways. well now, i start the bike and it idels so low it stalls. which way should i be turning it? i tried both ways atleast 20 turns, nothing happened...could something have come off?

Turn it CLOCK WISE TO RAISE and COUNTER CLOCKWISE TO LOWER your rpms. Turn too many times and you may have caused it to come undone. It should only need minor amounts of turning to adjust idle.

Also, setting idle is something you want to do when the engine is warm at full operating temperature. So, get it worked out enough so that it at least idles a little high and set it when it is warm. You probably will then adjust a bit down to get the correct idle. If you've caused the cable to come undone, that is a whole nother can of worms. Correct idle is: 1,300 +or- 100 rpm
