I just picked up a 05 600rr that I am turning into a track bike. When I picked the bike up it would not start and seemed to be flooded. I cleaned the plugs (which were very black) and the bike started up, but it quickly began to flood itself again. There was some light smoke coming from the exhaust. I am guessing that the bike is running too rich. It has a power commander USB and a 2 bros slip on. Also, the bike dies off idle after it has been reved after it starts. Does this sound like a Power Commander problem? Anyone have any other suggestions?

well if its new, take it back to your dealer. either way, warrenty will fix it.
if its black smoke, which it shouldnt be, caues its new, means your seals for your pistons are fucked, and oil is getting into the pistons.
if its white smoke, then ya. its running too rich.
i say take it back to honda.

See what map is currently loaded and then try and different slip-on map. Need you to eliminate the possibilities and that's a good place to start. How did you "clean" the plugs?
