I am happy to announce that over this past weekend I secured 4 Amatuer class Championships in the Northeast CCS Loudon Road Racing Series!
I am the Class Champion in:
Middleweight Supersport
Middleweight Grand Prix
Heavyweight Superbike &
Unlimited Superbike
I competed in all these races aboard my 2005 Yamah R6.
With 1 more weekend to go I will be looking to close and secure three more titles as well. It looks as though I have them in the bag as something catastrophic would have to occur to keep me from winning them since it is just a matter of mathematics at this point. I would basically have to not enter (or crash) while only 1 person in each class would have to go on and win it. So while I am in 1st place, nothing is ever certain until its over.
Then from there its on to Daytona Beach to race at the Speedway. It's something I have always dreamed of being able to do. I can't wait to be sitting up there on that front row with 60 people behind me wanting nothing more than to beat me to the finish line. That will be my little piece of history and personal accomplishment. Something to share with the grand kids some day. Of course that means having kids first which means having a girlfriend first, but thats another story for another day. Us motorcycle raceres aren't an easy bunch to date. lol.
So that's it. Just sharing some happiness with y'all. best of luck to anyone and everyone else out there trying to make their hopes and dreams come true.
You'll never know the outcome if you don't try!
Cheers
Eric
