Sorry for all these trouble threads i've been making. I've been rebuilding my bike from almost the ground up and a lot of it is new territory.

I finally got my subframe, fuel tank, fuel pump, battery and fuses all hooked up tonight. finally feels like i'm making some headway.

But now i have a new problem. after my gauge turns on my fuel injection doesn't start and after a few moments my fuel gauge begins an animation i've never seen before. It looks like this...

lol. I made an animation because my camera isn't working at the moment.
If you have any ideas on what it may be then help meh! :)

Thanks,
Kyler

open circuit in wire harness or fuel level sensor.
if the wire harness and fuel level sensor are good, replace the combination meter printed circuit board.

^taken from 07 service manual^
i imagine its the same fault for all years RR's tho

no, i think thats the actual gauge.
it says to check the fuel pump first along w/ the wiring, then move on to the gauge cluster.

Yea i noticed the fuel level sensor came loose pretty easily.

It's very possible it came unplugged when i shoved the tank back in. I'll check it tomorrow and keep ya up to date.

Awesome animation man
Thanks, made it quick using imageready and photoshop

I'm having the same problem. Which plug is the fuel sensor? I removed my fairings and this started to happen.

You can't miss which wire it hooks up to..just look under the fuel tank.
