So I recently bought a used 07 600RR and noticed something weird. The starting coil engages even with the kill switch off but it just doesn't start. Is this normal?
I guess the starter cranks but the motor doesn't start when the kill switch is on "off". On my old bike, if the kill switch was on "off", nothing would happen. When the kill switch is on "on" bike starts up normally. Hope this makes sense and I was just wondering if this was normal for this bike.Starting coil? Not quite sure what you mean. Could you explain what it sounds like or is doing?
lol..thx, I'll keep that in mind :icon_lol:Many reasons^^^
Your wires will wear out faster
The return spring on the start button can fail
You'll wear out your flip phone by calling your friends way too often to ask them, "Why won't my bike start?"
The list is endless.
