Next month i'm thinking about going on a few day trip around lake Ontario.
Enter Canada from Buffalo, NY. Drive northeast and enter back in to NY from Kingston or southern Montreal area. Any stop suggestions from people from Canada? From there drive south, cut through Adirondacks. Go back home to Rochester, NY.

Any stop suggestions? Any road trip suggestions? How do you plan your fuel stops? Be on the safe side and fuel every 100 miles or carry a gallon of extra fuel? Get a GPS?

first off; there are plenty gas stations so don't bother with carrying extra fuel, it will just be a burden... as for stops; TORONTO, stop in down town toronto get some street meat and take pics of the the CN tower. (but watch out fot rush hour traffic, avoid the city between 3:00pm and 6:00pm)

Toronto early enough on a Saturday or Sunday isn't too bad to roll through. I live near Niagara Falls On, and have been contemplating this exact same trip around Lake Ontario.
