+1, there will ALWAYS be someone faster!

My PB's

JenningsGP: 1:23.201 (track record is in the 1:14's)
Palm Beach International: 1:26.449 (track record is in the 1:16's)
Homestead Speedway: 1:36.800 (need to double check, it's been a bit...) (track record is in the 1:24's)
Barber Motorsports: 1:42.122 (first time there - only been once) (track record is in the 1:24's)

Jennings I am within single digits, PBIR I am getting there... lol HMS I don't ride much anymore. And well Barber that was my first time so I will be knocking those times down ;)

Wow! Killer times!!
Seriously...

After 10 years of trackdays, I just rented a lap timer for the 1st time at Seca. I'm embarrassed to say my best was a 1:53 flat on a bone stock '07 CBR600RR.

I felt I had some better lap times coming, but I got held up in traffic. "B" Group is always tough. ("B+" at Kiegwins) You really have to be in the "A" group to get your best times in.

Once I get more confidence in the brakes, I'll be able to brake deeper. I have some Galfer lines ready to install.

With the exception of two trackdays so far this year, I've only done one trackday a year for the last five years. And Seca was my 1st trackday on my new bike. I'm hoping to dip into the high 1:40's before my age starts really slowing me down. I'll be 43 in Sept.

I know the record on a superstock 600 at Willow Springs is a 1:21.7 or 1:21.5, so far my best is a 1:28.0. His record at Streets of Willow is like a 1:14 I think, mine would be a 1:29.0 on my stock street bike. Not riding the past 2 months is killing me and I still got a month to go.

It was done just 2 weeks ago by my rider on a 2005 Aprilia125 at the AFM race. About 48-50HP. Bested the previous 125 lap record set by Cameron Baubier by almost .5 seconds. Tdub
